Awesome Tees for Back to School and the Best Back to School Commercial Ever

Do you remember that commercial for back to school with the parents rejoicing and the kids pouting? It was from Staples and it was set to the tune of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." It was from the 90s. Yes, I was in school and definitely had no kids, but I couldn't help but laugh at it. (I'll put the Youtube link at the end of the blog) Well it's that time again - back to school.

Now I realize that many kids are already back in class, some for a couple weeks, yet there are some kids who have a week and a half more before class starts. But it's never to early or late to think about buying them some t-shirts. Tees are great for the whole school year. When the weather is hot, you can wear only the tee. When it's cooler you can later the tee over long sleeve shirts or under a hoodie. They are also great for gym class.

Fun Back to School Tees for Girls including Science and Monster Trucks

We are still on a little break from our normal routine. So we'll make this short and sweet. We made a line of back to school tees for kids (click here) that includes aliens, trains, monster trucks. Back to School -- Do you remember your favorite teacher?

It's back to school time. The commercials are on TV, the sales are in the stores, the first day of school is quickly approaching.

For us, here at 4Craig T-Shirts, it means we need to take a break. We are taking a break from designing, from technology, and from our regular schedule. We need to regroup, take a mental break, and spend more family time together. Before the crazy school year starts again and we are pulled in too many different directions. Don't worry, we'll be back to our regular schedule soon. You won't believe some of the fall designs we have planned. We are very excited about what's coming up for us. 

But before we go, I want to give a shout out to all the teachers out there. It's a hard job that seems to be underappreciated. I remember some of my favorite teachers with great fondness. Mrs. Doty was my 8th grade math teacher. Math was my most hated subject. I think I was bored. I loved and thrived in the creative classes. But that year, Mrs. Doty showed me how to tackle any math problem. She taught me how to think in math class, a skill that didn't come natural to me. She taught me that sometimes it takes a little work to tackle a new skill, but the hard work is worth it. That last one is one I use even now. She inspired me to be more than just a creative type, I could master some of the boring (to me) skills too.

Thanks to all the teachers out there, you are inspiring kids in ways you probably don't know.

Binge TV Watching Graphic Tees Stay in the Air Conditioning This Summer to Binge Watch

We watched too much TV this summer. Normally we try to be outside because we need to enjoy the summer after some long, cold, icy, snowy Michigan winters. But this year has been different. It feels like Florida. Today, we walked to the library here in town (a five minute walk), and our clothes were damp just from being outside. Not to mention the large amount of mosquitoes from the recent floods. It feels like you're a light bulb walking through a really hot cloud.

Perhaps if we had a pool, it would be okay because we would be wet anyway. But we have allergies and sinus problems so weather like this makes our sinuses flare up. We are inside for now. We exercise in the air conditioning because it's hard to breathe in the high humidity. Do you have a solution? We'd love to hear an inexpensive one.

Anyway, we don't normally watch a lot TV in the summer time, but this summer we are watching more than normal. So these tees are normally more appropriate for the cold months. For now in Michigan, these are appropriate for the hot humid weather. We actually were going to save this post for a fun back to school or college design, but it works well today.
